Workshop on cultural competence for working with the ultra-Orthodox community

Population: Police officers working with the ultra-Orthodox community

During the seminar, we will engage in lively and stimulating peer discussion on pressing issues that concern police officers working with the ultra-Orthodox community. We will meet with a social activist from the ultra-Orthodox community who will give us insight into the issues, tensions, and dilemmas that concern the ultra-Orthodox public in Israel. We will touch on issues such as public trust as a working tool, communication, and dialogue within cultural diversity. We will learn and practice the APART model through simulations and consider how to act in the most professional manner.

*It is recommended to add a meeting with an educator/community activist from the specific sector of the station.
