Tour of the Western Negev (Takuma, Reim, Sderot) – Flagship Program

The tour offers students an in-depth journey through the landscapes of the south – into the story of the communities surrounding Gaza and Sderot, in light of the events of October 7 and the ongoing complexity of life in the region. Through visits to memorial sites, battle sites, reconstruction centers, and encounters with everyday life, participants are exposed to stories of civilian heroism, community resilience, and coping with trauma alongside choosing life. The tour fosters a deep connection between the youth and the fabric of life in southern Israel, emphasizing the importance of people, community, and generational responsibility in writing the next chapter of the Israeli story.
