Following the value of friendship then and now – a tour of the Palmach Museum in Tel Aviv and an experiential workshop

Through a visit to the Palmach House and a challenging workshop in Hayarkon Park/in the park The adjacent section traces the "spirit of the Palmach" and its relevance to the Israel Police today and to the unit in particular.

We will examine the connection between camaraderie and cohesion within the unit and the execution of the mission, and discuss the place of this value within the values of the Israel Police and its connection to the other values of the organization.

We will conclude with an experiential workshop that highlights the importance of camaraderie within the unit and puts it into practice in a way that engages the participants.

On Shaul's shoulder, we will tell the story of Gideon and his test for warriors, and discuss the importance of a sense of mission then and now. We will discuss what we consider to be the ideal commander, and examine how we can draw inspiration from prominent commanders and leaders throughout history. We will continue with a visit to the Shutman House in Ein Harod/Hatzrot HaIkarim in Kfar Tavor and discuss leadership and pioneering today.

Tour of the Carmel in the footsteps of mission and heroism

Visit to the Carmel Fire Disaster Memorial. During the tour, we will trace the actions of the security forces during the event – stories of heroism and courage, and difficult dilemmas in exercising judgment. We will learn about the heroism of those who fell in the disaster and discuss what gives people the strength to choose to serve and protect, even at the cost of their lives. We will visit the Druze Youth Center, the first Druze pre-military academy in Israel.
