Most of us encounter people with various disabilities, both visible and invisible, at home, in class, and on the street. In the seminar 'There's Room for Everyone,' participants will engage with complex questions such as the following through a digital exhibition and interactive methods:
- What exactly is disability, and who are the disabled people in society?
- What are the life experiences, challenges, and difficulties faced by people with disabilities?
- What struggles have people with disabilities in Israel and around the world led in order to gain recognition and rights?
- How does the reality of segregation affect attitudes toward people with disabilities?
- What can we do to increase inclusion?
We will learn to talk together sensitively about what is required of us in order to enable ourselves and others to have a more accepting, tolerant, and better environment.
