I Care Seminar

Adolescence is a period in which young people explore their identity and their relationship to society—what is important to me? What are my priorities? How do I choose my friends and which group to join? Do I see myself as part of the society around me, the Jewish people, the country? Do I want to influence what happens in it? Do I even care? How can I do that? What is the difference between caring and selfishness?

In their search for answers to these questions, young people turn to TikTok influencers, social media, and computer games, which actually increase individualism and addiction to external appearances and excessive consumption. In this reality, it is sometimes easy to forget that alongside these answers, we can also act differently, broaden our view of the society around us, be sensitive and caring toward one another, and choose our friends based on a set of values that are important to us.

In this seminar, we will try to choose together the option of caring, sensitivity to others, and respect for others after seeing the way we view others and ourselves. We will choose to act differently and be caring toward our friends and those around us.

Seminar schedule

  • Opening – Games that break the routine
