Training a school leadership group

A series of meetings to build a school leadership group that will serve as a leading core in the school and will initiate, plan, and operate community-social projects in accordance with the school's needs and the educational staff's vision. Throughout the training, students will undergo a personal and group process of clarifying values, understanding their responsibility as leaders and influencers within the school system, and developing a set of practical tools for leading initiatives and activities.

The training may include the following content:

  • Getting to know each other and team building – Building trust, a common language, and a sense of belonging.
  • Personal and group values clarification – What is important to me? What is important to us as a leadership group? How do values translate into choices and actions?
  • The role of the leader – Clarifying the role of the leader through three questions: Who am I? What is the situation I am in? And what should someone like me do in this situation?
  • Developing ideas for educational and social projects – Brainstorming, selecting a leading project, and formulating courses of action.
  • Tools for leading activities – Public speaking, moderating discussions.
  • ODT activities To strengthen the group and deepen the role of the leader
