In recent weeks, we have witnessed a widespread social struggle that affects many sectors of Israeli society. The controversy began over the legal reform led by the government, but as the days progressed, it became clear that the struggle was over the character of Israeli society and Israeli democracy. The controversy stems from the different pains experienced by different groups in our society. We hope that dealing with this controversy will build a single Israeli society in which there is room for all the different segments of the population.
