This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. We have chosen to highlight the story of the fighters – the rebels in the ghettos, who were very close in age to today's youth.
Not adults, not soldiers – members of youth movements.
In a few years, there will be no one left who lived through that terrible time.
It seems that we are all faced with the questions: What should we remember? Who should we remember? How should we remember?
Through the stories of the fighters, we ask ourselves whether young people have a unique role to play in the face of evil, injustice, hatred, and racism.,
And we will debate what the fighters demand of us today.

We have created a social studies lesson for you that will help tell the story of the rebellion.
