Population: Police officers and command staff
One of the most pressing issues raised by the war is the Zionist concept of living on the border and how it relates to the concept of defense and settlement in the State of Israel today. On a tour of the western Negev, we will learn about the inspiring history of settlement, agriculture, and defense, understand how relevant and topical this concept is to the mission of today's police officers, and ask what place it has in the officers' sense of mission.
Objectives:
- Examining the Zionist concept of living on the borders and defending them, and examining the relevance of this concept to the mission of police officers today.
- Strengthening police officers' sense of mission by exposing them to inspiring stories of heroism and protection
- Strengthening unity within the unit and understanding that social resilience and security resilience are interdependent
- Providing a platform for discussion on dedication and sacrifice for the sake of national security – then and now
