Tour for mid-level commanders (Major-Lieutenant Colonel)
Duration: 3 hours
What you need to bring: Hat and water
During the tour, we will formulate a vision of "shared Israeli identity" precisely through the most difficult wounds and dilemmas of Israeli society. We will engage in complex discourse at the national level and formulate a leadership vision for mid-level commanders. During the tour, we will get to know diverse populations, learn how disputes have shaped Israeli society over the years, and examine the dilemmas of decision-making and taking a stand in the midst of controversy. The tour combines a discussion of values regarding the limits of discourse, freedom of expression, social periphery, religion and state relations, and national identity, while practicing inclusive discourse between different positions.
We will conclude the tour with a workshop on "Command-Educational Discourse" to acquire valuable and professional tools for creating a unifying discourse and deepening the sense of mission.
The route is approximately 4 km long (it is possible to shorten it or change the order of the stops) and includes key points such as Har HaBayit, IDF Square, Safra Square, Zion Square, Shabbat Square, and Gan HaSus.
